  • "Mac McCormick died on Thursday October 26, 2006 when his Beechcraft Baron twin-engine plane crashed on its landing approach to the Lawrenceville-Vincennes Airport in Illinois.  His death is a tragedy for members of his family, whom he loved, and for his legions of friends, who greatly enjoyed his company.  For the community, his death leaves a gaping hole which will not easily be filled anytime soon."
